Rock Hill business Williams & Fudge will pilot a workplace giving program with Givolio, the online giving tool developed by Rock Hill digital agency RevenFlo. The launch of this workplace giving tool into the market will likely be a significant disruptor, locally and then regionally, to the long-held status quo of workplace giving with institutions like the United Way.

In case you haven’t heard already, Givolio is an online giving tool that lets users choose from over 1 million nonprofits and create a giving portfolio of their personal causes. Users can give as much or as little as they want, and they can do so once or on a recurring basis. As a workplace giving tool, Givolio will give employees full control over which organizations they donate to, allow them to watch their giving grow, and allow them to email or print a tax report with one click. The tool is great for nonprofits as well, since Givolio’s fixed 3% transaction fee (as opposed to nearly 20% at traditional workplace giving institutions) means more of your money is going directly to the nonprofit.

Local CPA firm Burkett Burkett & Burkett is also doing a smaller giving campaign around Giving Tuesday this year. While the full-scale pilot will roll out with Williams and Fudge in January 2017.

On the partnership, RevenFlo & Givolio President and Founder Jason Broadwater said, “The marketplace needs an innovative solution to giving – personal and workplace. We look forward to expanding beyond the pilot and are eager to hear from organizations that want to learn more about the tool.”

By using Givolio, Williams & Fudge can take their already extensive giving to a new heights. If interested in more information about Givolio please visit givolio.com.
