WE NEED CHANGE
In last-century America, more people were getting wealthier over time. In today’s America, more people are getting poorer over time (in relation to the cost of the big-ticket items of a middle-class life like healthcare, childcare, education, home ownership, retirement). Wealth consolidation is the problem. Democratic Economics is the solution.
Government should
(1) provide basic and affordable public access to
and
(2) facilitate, support, and regulate a thriving market in
each of these areas:
The American Plateau
The United States has a great opportunity to use its enormous wealth to provide to all people in this nation an economic plateau of not just basic needs but also of robust opportunity and preparedness for success in this world.
