Government should
(1) provide basic and affordable public access to
and
(2) facilitate, support, and regulate a thriving market in
each of these areas:
WE NEED CHANGE
In 20th-Century America, more and more people were getting wealthier over time. In today’s America, more and more people are getting poorer over time. Our democratic government exists for the specific purpose of keeping power distributed among the people. It turns out, the only way to do that is to keep wealth distributed among the people. Not to take it from one group and give it to another, but to have a free and fair system that generates a more balanced macroeconomic outcome.
The American Plateau
The United States has a great opportunity to use its enormous wealth to provide to all people in this nation an economic plateau of not just basic needs but also of robust opportunity and preparedness for success in this world.
