I had a few meetings yesterday advancing the 2009 Old Town New World conference ( Oct 23).

Tom Stanley of Ace Projects and Karen Derksen of Winthrop university galleries will be providing a couple of speakers/a panel.  The Arts Council of York County will be curating the art portion.  Scott Nurkin, artist from Chapel Hill, will participate as an artist.
