Jason Broadwater has joined the board of directors for ASPIRE Community Capital, a Charlotte-area nonprofit focused on expanding access to capital and business support for underserved and undercapitalized entrepreneurs.

ASPIRE works with small and micro business owners who often face barriers to traditional financing, providing both lending solutions and hands-on support in areas such as strategy, marketing, business development, and financial literacy. Their model is designed not only to fund businesses, but to strengthen them.

One of the organization’s most compelling aspects is its loan fund structure, which leverages partnerships with traditional financial institutions to amplify the impact of contributed funds, effectively multiplying each donated dollar several times over. Through this approach as well as through business services, ASPIRE has supported more than 1,500 entrepreneurs across the region.

Broadwater’s involvement reflects a continued commitment to economic development efforts that prioritize access, sustainability, and long-term community impact.
