Stefanie Haviv talks about her career path in commercial and wedding photography. We’ll talk about the power of problem-solving, the importance of engaging people with imagery, and the nature of work in the creative class.

Stefanie Haviv is the definition of a woman who does it all. She graduated from college in Chapel Hill in 2007,  then moved to Brooklyn, where she bought her first DSLR (a Canon T1i) and fell in love with her husband. Upon returning to Charlotte in 2009, she began working at Amelie’s French Bakery, and doing photography on the side for a studio in Charlotte. Stefanie just recently left the studio to begin working weddings solo and broadening her portfolio.

Instead of working as a manager at Amelie’s, Stefanie now offers her services to them in the form of photography and marketing. Food photography has become one of her specialities. Stefanie is also a lover of cooking and eating Italian food, as well as gardening, and thrift shopping. She has been happily married for 6 years, with 2 kids, 3 dogs, a cat, a bunny, and a horse (think she’s got her hands full?).
